CDC COMPLIANT: We are experiencing challenging times and PW PAL is doing our best to
adapt while continuing to serve the needs of the community.
The CDC youth activities guidelines currently recommend keeping a stable group of
children, encouraging sports that involve less physical closeness over those that are close-
contact or involve shared equipment and encouraging activities that are lower risk such as
skill-building and conditioning. The CDC also recommends enhanced cleaning and
disinfection protocols. The risk is greatly minimized outdoors, in a breezy area, when social
distancing and recommended hygiene is maintained as much as possible.
Our ‘clinic style’ programs do just that by maintaining the same kids as a stable ‘team’,
encouraging friends to register together, carpool as much as possible, and minimizing the
interaction between established teams. Our staggered schedule allows for disinfecting
grounds and equipment between programs. Our policy of no shared equipment minimizes
the risk of infection.
ALL our staff and Directors will have been trained in CDC compliance prior to the start of
any programs. Additional safety and hygiene stations will be on site.
WHAT IS CLINIC STYLE: Clinic Style means small groups of kids playing a sport under the
overall guidance of an accomplished experienced “Head Coach” with each individual group
led by an “Assistant Coach”. The focus is on FUN. After the Spring we’ve gad, kids just need
to play! Groups will be split by age and gender. We strongly encourage kids to register as a
group and if participating in multiple sessions to maintain those groups as much as possible.
